Valentine's Day Lunch at your Shed - Friday 14th February from 11:30AM On Friday week, February 14, The Melville Community Men's Shed will be hosting a Valentine's Day Lunch in the Shed. The menu consists of chicken and salad with cake to follow. The cost is $10 per head. Soft drinks can be purchased from the fridge for $2.00/can. Partners very welcome. Preferably only one at a time. The function will be held upstairs in the Function Room from 11:30AM. The Shed’s musicians will be providing a musical setting. So come along and have some fun while supporting your Shed. However, with the Heathcote Maker's Market this Sunday and the upcoming Bunnings Foyer Sale on 14th December, we have run out of stock! 😮  Here's a change to upgrade your wood working skills. Next week from Tuesday 5th November (and every Tuesday 'till Christmas), we will be running workshops to manufacture more stock. Come down to the Shed and report for work. 🫡  There will be plenty of cutting, gluing, sanding and painting to be done! 🪚🔨🪛  Patrick has all the plans so you can get up and running.  Thanks in anticipation for your support.

Perth Makers Market @ Goolupgatup Heathcote Reserve - This Sunday 3rd November 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Melville Community Men's Shed is participating in the Perth Maker's Market this Sunday at Heathcote. Members have been super busy manufacturing items for sale including breadboards, Christmas decorations and children's toys. Why not support your shed and the local community by dropping in and saying hi on Sunday. Kate and Paula will be fronting our stall. Graham McKellar will tell us how to: - use equipment/ machines unsafely, - maintain them incorrectly, - adjust them absurdly, and - injure oneself constantly 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️ PLUS photos and stories of many other STUPID incidents. 🤪 😵‍💫🫣   PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU: - have commonsense, - know it all, - have certification = "Not an Idiot" - & don't care about your/ any body. STUPID QUESTIONS ENCOURAGED 👍

Our Shed will host an Information Stand about MCMS at this morning tea. Come support us!! We will be one several groups featured. Organised by ConnectGroups (City of Melville), men's health Support Groups and community members, will come together for this event, hosted at the Swan River Rowing Club. Join us as we gather and connect with other Support Groups for morning tea to highlight the significance of men's health and support the wellbeing of men and boys in our community. Help us tell other men about our Shed!

Our friends at Bunnings are putting on a Free family fun night with free entertainment, light refreshments, DIY's and make a gift for Mum for Mother's Day.   Volunteers are needed from Shed to cook on the Bunnings bbq.

Sausage sizzle, sauce drizzle, Mmm 😋  Great way to support the Shed, raise funds to run the Shed and have a great time.
