The inaugural MCMS/SPYC "Men's Health Sailing Cup" is being held on Friday 16th from 3pm.
Led by member Kevin Fulwood, this challenge is to sail remote control model yachts.
Kevin has helped several shed members in building these kit yachts over the past few months.
As part of national "Men's Health Week" (June 12-18), the benefits of this sailing challenge include getting outdoors together, sharing in a race, being shoulder to shoulder, and enjoying a frothy or two.*
In addition, the Men's Sheds of WA has provided a small health-related grant for afternoon tea and the requisite munchies.
